MEGAVOLT IS THE ULTIMATE e-MTB WEEKEND

Run by the team that brought you BC Bike Race, the MegaVolt is a 3-day eMTB festival packed with fun events, great trails and good vibes. It’s the Ultimate Weekend for those who love eMTB or are eCurious.

2 LOCATIONS FOR 2026! This year, we expanded the MegaVolt to two different weekends, two locations, and two different riding zones!

Our next event is October 2-4 in Squamish , a place synonymous with world-class riding. Granite slabs, forest loam, and big, memorable lines make it an incredible fit for eMTB. We will be based out of MTN Fun Basecamp, which features on-site camping, suites, sauna, bike rentals and mechanic services.

FESTIVAL DETAILS

It reminded me of the first mountain bike races in the late 80’s; low-key, grassroots, lots of fun. No one cares who’s first or who’s last. Just a group of like-minded people gathering and riding bikes.

The MEGA VOLT, it’s the first event of it’s kind. It’s an eMTB Event, it’s a race, it’s a ride. Basically, we’re out here having fun with friends.

This might be one of the best weekends on a bike I've had. You think it's gonna be fun, but it exceeds your expectations!

This weekend has been amazing, with all the people here, and so much camaraderie!

I'm putting this in my calendar for next year. Mega Volt is definitely something I'd like to do again.

It just was a good camaraderie thing. I feel you got more chance to get to know people because you could stop and just hang out, take a group picture with people you’ve never met before.

What an incredible experience for both my husband and I. Fun times riding hard and fast with a great group; enjoying the best of trails with none of the suffering. Each day was celebrated with new friends over a beer.

Emily Ng Jarmin

BCBR has tapped into the sense of common community that, like any other mountain bike event, brings riders together.

It was really neat to get the experience of riding with so many e-bikers. MegaVolt has something really special.

I had fun on all the events. Every event was as fun as the last. I did like the adventure challenge. Me and Sylvie Allen, um, We teamed up and figured out our routes. And, yeah, it was great.

It's so worth it. Everything from the camping to the food, the organization, the vibe, the prizes. It's awesome. Awesome. Must do.

It was amazing. I was a little bit intimidated coming in, but I was reassured that it was a very accessible event for everybody and it truly is. I felt it was really inclusive... 10 out of 10.

We are grateful for the opportunity to recreate on the lands of the Quw’utsun (Cowichan) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nations. This event is operated with respect and care for the land and its people.

We couldn’t put on this eMTB Festival without the support of the Cowichan Trail Stewardship Society (CTSS). and the Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association (SORCA). A portion of each registration fee will be donated to these organizations, which build and maintain these amazing local trails.
